Fairy Kettle or Cauldron and Fairy Kirk

On one side of the gorge is a deeply excavated pool, worn by the water into a circular shape, known as the Fairy Kettle (or cauldron). On the oposite side is the Fairy Kirk, a cavern eighteen yards long, carved out by the beck, before the water found a new level.
