The lower outcrop at Col de St Eustache is easily reached.

Leave the car in the spaces on the col, and walk up the outcrop, this leads along a ridge, clad in drought resistant trees and shrubs, and beautiful flowers.

The path heads around the right side of the outcrop, gaining height and becomming patchy over the grippy rock.

The views from the top are stunning, looking right over the Alta Rocca region, and giving a fantastic taster of what lies ahead for the visitors to the region.

You can climb higher, up onto the adjacent outcrop, by clambering over a small col, and up a staircase in the cliff, it was too exposed for me, but my partner went up with camera and tripod!
